Ditto teams up to face Felethus Barka in Wizard101
Ditto is still questing in Caer Lyon in Avalon, searching for paints, and has to face Felethus Barka, a rank 11 boss. Ditto wanted to try the new ‘Team Up’ feature, and it worked very well, even though Ditto was playing very early in the morning it found me someone to group with pretty quickly, and we made short work of the boss and his nefarious minion.s
Ditto is back in Avalon, and he’s a bit rusty…
So after a couple weeks of computer issues Ditto is FINALLY back in Wizard101, questing in Avalon… Of course, since it had been a little while since Ditto had played, his re-introduction was… well… problematic. This duel was kind of a hot mess, I didn’t have any fire prisms (and of course I was fighting fire), I hit the wrong spell first turn, and I overestimated the damage over time last round, but in the end I was victorious! Yay Wizard101!
Ditto gets the Hoodu Bundle and trains new skills!
Ditto has made level 20 and gets the new Hoodu bundle, with a great outfit, a cool spooky ship, and a cute monkey witch doctor companion who is really good!
Ditto also meets with Morgan Lafitte, his Swashbuckler trainer, and gets trained up in some new skills and powers!
Ditto versus Whiptail Panteras again in Wizard101
After his embarrassing defeat, Ditto goes back to those nasty Whiptail Panteras for some payback. This time – thanks to a wonderful lack of fizzles – the fight goes a lot better for our furry hero! It’s a good fight, and these panteras are nasty! Opening up the fight with two stormzillas – not cool!!
Back in Pirate101 – Ditto seeks out Merriweather and makes level 20!!
After their disappointment at Scorpion Rock, Ditto and crew head back to find Merriwether and see what he knows about this mysterious ‘Captain Blood’ – sounds like a scary guy!! Merriweather doesn’t know much, but sends Ditto and crew to talk to the sheriff, Rooster Cogburn himself, to get more information on their elusive foe!
I also realized I made level 20 in this video, which is a very big deal! I’ll be training up and getting some new equipment soon!
Displacing Beasts – Nasty battle with Whiptail Pantera in Wizard101
Ditto finds Ashlyn Brushtail to repair some armor, but she needs Ditto’s help (of course) – she is surrounded by these nasty, scary, terrifying monsters called Whiptail Pantera, which are like giant cats with big blades on their tails, and of course they are storm… of course.
This fight is pretty intense and, thanks to some poorly times fizzles, it doesn’t go all that well…
Ditto plays HearthStone as a Druid
So Ditto has been playing ‘HearthStone’ lately, and decided to make a quick video. Well, Carl recorded me accidentally, but it came out pretty good so I decided to post it.
So Hearthstone is a digital Collectible Card Game (CCG) from the same people who made ‘World of Warcraft’, so it’s well done and it’s definitely fun to play. The mechanics are pretty simple and it’s easy to pick up – but there’s a lot of strategy involved too. You start with one mana and get another each turn, similar to pips in Wizard101, and the cards have a lot of different abilities. One of my favorites is ‘Taunt’ – creatures with taunt protect you, your opponent can’t attack you directly if you have a creature with Taunt on the table.
Your character has a special ‘hero ability’ too – I think mage is probably the strongest hero ability – 1 direct damage fireball – but I like druid a lot too, giving your hero +1 attack and +1 shield. I’m not a fan of Warlock – it’s ‘draw a card but pay 1 life’, draw a card is important in this game, but if you’ve got a well built deck you shouldn’t need it – at least not at the cost of a life.
Overall I’m having fun with it so far, so there will probably be more videos soon, but for now, back to Wizard101 🙂
Captain Ditto faces the Scorpion Queen! Pirate101
Deep in the caves under Scorpion Rock, Captain Ditto and his crew have faced hordes of scorpions, ghost cowboys, and more! Now they face their most fearsome foe – the Scorpion Queen herself!!
This battle is incredibly fierce and Ditto’s crew fights to the last man – literally – to defeat the arachnid foes (Did you know Scorpions are arachnids, not insects?) and find the piece of Marco Pollo’s map. However, in the end the crew finds a plot twist worthy of a Shyamalan movie – one of the good ones, too!!

Hot on the trail of Marco Pollo’s map, Captain Ditto and crew head into the caves under Scorpion Rock and find… scorpions!! Lots and lots of scorpions! Ditto and crew have to defeat lots of scorpions to make their way deeper into the cave, searching for the piece of Marco Pollo’s map!
Ditto Returns to Avalon!!
It’s been a while, but Digby Hexcrafter is back in Avalon! Ditto has completed WinterTusk, made level 75, got some cool new gear, new spells, and is finally back in Avalon!
Ditto meets with Steward Kay in Caer Lyon, looking for a map of the Weirwood. Of course, Steward Kay isn’t very organized, and can’t really remember where he put the map. So while Steward Kay is searching for the map, he asks Ditto to fight some HobGoblins. Not ‘Why don’t you sit here and have some pie while I find your map’ or even ‘Hey, can you help me find this map?’ – right away it’s ‘hey can you risk life and limb to fight these rank 11 hobgoblins to retrieve my friends armor and shield?’. I think folks in Avalon are rude…
Captain Ditto is searching for Marco Pollo’s map in Pirate101
Captain Ditto and crew are back in Pirate101 and looking for fragments of Marco Pollos’ map! Legend has it, there’s a piece located at Scorpion Rock, so that’s where Captain Ditto is heading. And as a bonus – Scorpion Rock kind of looks like a scorpion! Isn’t that neat? 🙂
Ditto in WinterTusk – facing down Ormand the Surly!
Ditto faces down ‘Ormand the Surly’ to get a mythical shovel, and ponders just how someone would get a name like ‘surly’… it turns out he was definitely quite surly!
After that, Ditto brings the pick and the shovel to Kettil and has to break through a big icy barrier wall – so cool! (Get it? cool…) Then for fun, Ditto plays a rousing game of Shock-A-Lock!! It’s probably the easiest game of Shock-A-Lock ever played, I think…
Finally, Ditto talks to Thyra Brightspell, a friend of Grandmother Ravens’, and learns of the dreaded ‘Dragon Gate’…
Ditto introduces Stephen LifeSinger!
As many people know, Ditto has been playing an alt – Stephen LifeSinger, a newbie Life/Myth wizard – isn’t he cute? Alts can be a lot of fun, and it’s really amazing how much different it is playing the game as Life versus Fire – such fun!!
Anyway – I’m not going to record lots with him, but I wanted to do a quick video to introduce him. Any hints or tips folks can give on playing a life wizard? Gear, alternate spells, deck hints? I’d love to hear them!
Ditto in WinterTusk, dueling with Marek The Lean
Ditto is in WinterTusk – I’ve been working on getting through WinterTusk because I know I missed a bunch of good stuff and some spells. Here I’m working towards getting the Golden Seals, and I need to defeat Marek the Lean for his magical pick! It’s a good duel and lots of fun – I like going back through and doing the WinterTusk quests!
Sorry if the video is kind of dark – it was a very dark day and even with the lights on it seems kind of dark.
Captain Ditto heads to Elder Bluff
Once Captain Ditto made it out of the Bison Burial Grounds, he headed to Elder Bluff to speak to the Bison guys about their stolen artifacts. Of course, the Bison aren’t really all that talkative, so Ditto and his trusty first mate had to clash with the top Bison warriors before the chief would even speak to them. Ditto is really stressed by all this fighting… I think my fur is singed a bit.
Bison Burial Ground Part 2 – Ghost of a Chance!!
After Captain Ditto and crew defeated the angry Bison warriors in the burial ground, things got worse – much worse. The Bison shaman guy did some crazy mojo and rose up the ghosts of ancient Bison Spirit Shaman! And once THEY were defeated, things just got weird with an attack of – get this – Ghost Jackalopes! And they were not just silly – they were viscous!!
Captain Ditto in the Bison Burial Ground, Part 1
This is the start of a pretty intense set of battles, each one weirder than the last! It all starts with the cries of Nurse Quinn, Medicine Chicken, who had been taken captive by some Bison. Captain Ditto has to face down the angry Bison warriors in a tough battle, but once that was done, our furry orange hero on his crew were apparently just getting started…
Captain Ditto loses a Merriweather…. and half his crew!
Cool Ranch is already starting to concern Ditto a lot. Searching for Merriweather Clark, Ditto has to seek out Professor Murgatroyd. Unfortunately, there is a nest of scorpions between Ditto and his goal, and a huge fight ensues… these scorpions must have been mutant scorpions or something like that, because they were TOUGH and took out most of my crew – I had to hire some higher level henchmen to help me out here – it was scary! I made it through though, and talked to Professor Murgatroyd about the whereabouts of Mister Clark. He wasn’t there, naturally, but I managed to get out of his camp without fighting those monster scorpions again.
Captain Ditto makes it to Cool Ranch!! Pirate101
Ditto is finally making some fun new gameplay videos, and I’m starting out with Pirate101, since I haven’t played or done a video in a while. So Ditto and his crew make their way to Cool Ranch, where there unfortunately learn that their contact Christopher Clark is no longer available due to a slight case of being dead. Fortunately, Clark had a son named Merriweather who may be able to help… if we can find him.
I have a sneaking suspicion that I know exactly what’s going to happen next, and it is related to a lot of sailing, searching, and fighting.

Ditto completes his quest in Mooshu and heads back to Wizard City to Headmaster Ambrose. As they’re having a little chat, the whole building shakes and Morganthe appears! To once again save The Spiral, Ditto finally gets the key to Avalon!!
Ditto’s Video Bloggy Thingy (a few days late)
So I recorded this and put it up over the weekend, but for some odd reason it never posted publicly. Weird.

Hello everybody, it is the Ditto, and it’s time for another Video Bloggy Thingy! Sorry it’s been so long, but Ditto has been having so much fun in-game, sometimes he forgets to do these…
So to start off, the Twitter report – Ditto is up to 1675 followers! Wow! Ditto also has 1,195 YouTube subscribers, and 1,282 followers on Facebook – that is so cool!! Thanks everyone who follows Ditto, it makes a furry orange monster very happy!!
For games, Ditto has been playing a lot of both Pirate101 and Wizard101 lately! For Pirate101, Ditto finished his first set of Valencia quests and is now in Cool Ranch – All I Can think of is doritos now. Mmmm. For Wizard101, I’m doing well in Avalon, but it is VERY hard – lots of huge boss fights and very challenging battles! My third battle was against a huge dragon – it was so tough!!
In order to build myself up a bit more, Ditto actually took a bit of a break and headed to WinterTusk – I hadn’t finished that yet, and it seems like there’s a few spells that I missed, so I’m going back and re-doing that. It’s fun to go back to do older content – after spending time in Avalon, Wintertusk is much less stressful!!
Outside the game, Ditto and Miss Narrator are working on ‘Spiral Wars’ for Spiral Radio 101 – it’s a fun project and we hope people are enjoying it as much as we are. We’re planning something special coming up, too. Stay tuned for that.
And while Ditto did not have any contests in November, December will be a very different story – I’ll have some pretty great stuff coming up, with lots of prizes, so stay tuned for that!

New Video – Ditto Heads to Avalon – Part 1 – The Jade Palace #wizard101
So Ditto has defeated Morganthe’s minions and completed Zafaria, so it’s time to head over to see old Headmaster Ambrose. Ambrose says we must get to Merle’s home world, Avalon, and the council of light… but apparently to ‘learn’ about all this, Ditto has to get beat up a lot, starting with the fierce Jade Oni… a really big fight. I hope all this stuff I’m learning is worth it…
Ditto and Friends face Mirror Lake – Part 5 – The big finale!!!
Ditto and friends Destiny Shadowheart, Duncan Stormthief, and Lindsey Goldengrove finally face Morganthe… sort of. She gives her big epic villain speech about how awesome she is, blah blah blah, and then attacks us with four big storm spiders and makes her escape!
The storm spiders are quite a handful, but the team makes short work of them – but not before Morganthe does some spooky spell and the pace starts falling down around us! I guess it’s back to Headmaster Ambrose for this one.
Next Stop – Avalon…. sort of…
