Ditto’s Weekly Video bloggy Thingy… I’m back!
OK so I’ve been kind of out of it for the last week trying to do this insane ‘NaNoWriMo’ thingy. I’m still doing it, but not as obsessively, as I much prefer blogging and playing games and taking video. so starting now, I’m going to be back to my usual stuff, including posting Episode 13 of ‘The Daring Adventures of Ditto’ either today or tomorrow. Until then, here is my weekly video bloggy thingy!

Ditto’s Current Games – 11/5/2010
Hello Everybody… Well it is time again for another exciting article about what Ditto is playing!
So this week all my focus has been on an AMAZING new game that has literally consumed every free moment of my time – it’s unbelievable! It’s got action, it’s got great characters, but it’s definitely a bit of a grind… It’s called:
NaNoWriMo
That’s right, it’s the all-new MMO that seems to be sweeping the nation, possibly the globe. It’s got it’s own hashtag on Twitter, multiple forums and social networks dedicated to it, and even non-gaming sites are talking about it – it’s like some kind of crazy phenomena!
The gameplay here is pretty much all-consuming, with a focus on daily – that’s right DAILY – leveling goals that to some people (um, me anyway) find nearly impossible, but that seems to be part of the fun! I’m a little behind the curve right now, I’ll admit, because I really had trouble with my first big boss fight, ‘The Opening Chapter’ – that was a TOUGH fight, but I ended up staying up pretty late and finally finishing it off. Right now I’m grinding through some lower level narrative areas, but I think I’ve got another boss fight coming up soon so I need to make sure I get caught up soon.
Oh, and graphics – the graphics for this game might not be cutting edge, but they’re really crisp and it seems to run smoothly even on older computers – my only complaint is that they could have used a bit more color, I think…
I’m going to try and get a bit more Wizard101 in really soon, but for now I’m just focused on leveling up my NaNoWriMo character – after all, I’ve only got until November 30th to hit max level!!!

NaNoWhatNow?
So as I mentioned on Twitter, my roommate is doing this crazy ‘National Novel Writers Month‘ thingy and has been obsessively hogging the computer. Case in point, I was editing the latest ‘Daring Adventures’ episode and he was kind of freaking out, babbling about wordcount and how what he was doing was actually ‘important’ somehow. Well, I got a little annoyed and somehow my mouth opened and words came out – that’s never a good thing when I’m annoyed…
What I was GOING to say was that I would be off the computer in a few minutes and he could have it back. What I ACTUALLY said was something to the effect of “Well you’re not the only one doing this NaNoWriMo thingy – I’m writing a novel this month too! And it’s awesome – it’s a steampunk-vampire-horror-comedy-buddy-adventure novel!”
As I said – sometimes I really shouldn’t open my mouth.
So as of right now, I am apparently writing a steampunk-vampire-horror-comedy-buddy-adventure novel in the month of November. I will do my best to keep up with at least a few video updates here, and will make sure that my Daring Adventures continue on Ravenwood Radio as well. I’ll keep everyone up to date on how my literary masterpiece is working out, as well. How hard could it be, really – I mean, William Shatner wrote a whole series of novels, and he has less brains than I do…
Ditto’s 100th video post!!!
So here it is, my 100th video! I had so many awesome things planned for this big special video, but as I tried to do all those things I realized that it actually takes planning and organization and time – things I didn’t really have going for me this time. So instead, you get to see Ditto in Celestia, kind of, in a very special 100th Video Bloggy Thingy… hope you enjoy!!

How NOT to keep loyal players happy….
So last week I found a fun, really entertaining game called Braaains on Facebook. It was cute, it had zombies, it was fun and easy to play, but still a bit challenging. I’ll admit it, I got hooked on it – I’ve played every day since last week, sometimes logging in multiple times to check in on my terrifying Zombie horde…
Until today. Because today, when I logged in, instead of seeing my happy and smiling legions of the undead ready greet me, I found this:
So it tells me I need to ‘click here and enter my email address’ – well that’s odd, I thought to myself. Facebook already has my email address, obviously – it’s my login. Why would Braaains need me to enter it again? Well, let’s click and see…
Braaains sent me to what looks like a complete scam site ‘Get a free iPad just enter your email…’ blah blah blah. These sites are NEVER legit and I can’t imagine the flood of junk – or worse – I would get in my inbox if I were to sign up for this. I could not circumvent this in any way – not in different browsers, not by manipulating the URL tags, nothing. If I wanted to keep playing Braaains I would HAVE to give my email address to this ‘service’.
Sure I could put in a fake email address, but that’s not the point. While I understand a developer putting out a game is doing it to make money, FORCING your players to sign up for some disreputable service is just plain wrong, and I cannot, will not support this. I’ve deleted Braaains from my profile, I won’t be supporting them any more, which is sad, because it’s a game I was really getting into.
So for anyone who started playing Braaains because of my glowing recommendation last week, I do sincerely apologize – obviously I couldn’t have known about this shady business practice, but I still feel bad if anyone started playing and either got tricked into doing this or, like me, got invested in the game and then was forced to stop playing because they were uncomfortable with giving their email address to such a questionable site.
Celestia has arrived!!
So I’m not going to have the awesome ‘Here’s Celestia, here’s the awesome new quests and spells’ coverage that the other awesome blogs like Friendly Necromancer and Diary of a Wizard and of COURSE Ravenwood Radio are going to have, because Digby is still just level 33 and adventuring through Marleybone. I WILL, however, show you a picture of my new Ancient Koi mount!! Squeee! I love all the new mounts, like the turtle and a adorable seahorse, but the Koi just really makes me smile, I love the animation, and hey, it’s bright orange, so it works with my awesome Pyromancer skills AND matches my fur!
Anyway – I’ve got lots more coming up, but just wanted to say Hi and ‘Welcome, Celestia!!!’ – enjoy everyone, see you in the Spiral!!!
The Daring Adventures of Ditto, Episode 12
Here it is, as originally heard on Ravenwood Radio Episode 27 – The Daring Adventures of Ditto Episode 12, where Ditto and Madame Jasmine defeat menacing Steampunk robots, Ditto confirms his dislike of the immolate spell, and once again Sherlock Bones needs even more help managing the criminal element of Marleybone…
Ditto goes to the zoo!
So this weekend we all went out to the ‘Spooky Zoo’ – a great Halloween attraction at the local zoo. There were all kinds of games and treats and fun, and I met so many cool and interesting people there – it was a great time, and oddly enough, once again I seemed to be the only Fabricated American there… maybe ‘Fabricated American Day’ was last weekend? Yes, that was probably it. Anyway, I had a LOT of fun and got a few pictures so I figured I’d share them… Happy Halloween!!
Ditto’s Current Games 10/22/2010
Once again I discuss my weekly gaming fun – gaming from a Fabricated American point of view! Lots of great fun this week, and the best ‘game of the week’ I’ve found so far!! Of course not everything was hugs and puppies this week… there was tragedy as well – of the completely temporary virtual sort, anyway.
Wizard 101
Wizard 101 was at the top of my list with the new Halloween quests taking up lots of playtime this week – I am a huge fan of Jack Hallow and his pumpkin-headed brothers! I did some great ghost-busting and apple bobbing and pumpkin gathering, and soon I will be attacking those eerie towers floating over where the Death school used to be. Celestia fever is in high gear too, of course, but I’m not terribly worried about that yet. Wizard 101 was definitely my main game this week.
LOTRO
I played zero LOTRO this week, sadly – I was too tied up with other games and just never got a chance to log in. I will be playing soon though, as it looks like they have some cool seasonal event going on. I love these special seasonal events so I’ll definitely be checking it out soon – once I’ve finished all the Wizard 101 stuff, that is!
Backyard Monsters
So this week was all about attacking the new enemy tribes, and I did pretty well – I took out a few serious encampments and I’m refining my strategy – which basically means I’m updating the monsters I attack my enemies with. You’ve got a number of different kind of monsters that have differing costs and abilities, so it’s all about mixing and matching to get the best results. You could use a few high cost, powerful monsters, or a whole fleet of smaller monsters.
Of course when you attack them, they will sometimes attack back. Exhibit A – my fairly well demolished yard from earlier this week. Fortunately, even though I needed a lot of repair work to get back up and running, the attack was a failure, since my new defenses kept my town hall safe from harm. Power to the Monsters!
Game of the Week
I have found an awesome Halloween-themed game this week – Braaains!!! It’s a zombie horde fight game and I became instantly addicted, because let me tell you – Monsters like zombies, it’s just a thing with us. We also like sherbet and chickens – trust me on this one….
The game is similar to things like Ninja Wars, but more fun – You dig up zombies from the graveyard, train them and equip them for battle, then attack other player’s zombie hordes. The currency is mixed – gold, brains (of course) and bones, and it really becomes a game of resource management. You can have a bunch of poorly trained, well equipped zombies, or fewer zombies that are much better trained and more effective. I’m going the ‘all the zombies I can dig up’ route and arming them as well as I can afford. It’s working for me so far. This game is definitely going to replace my daily School of Wizardry game, I think. At least for now.
So that’s it for this week’s games – I’ve got a big 100th video planned, I’m working on that now, plus more Halloween fun and hopefully I can connect with a few friends in game and film us doing Katz’ lab soon… That would be a ton of fun. Until next time!
PLOX
So what should I do for my 100th Video?
As I tweeted the other day, I have posted 99 videos to my YouTube Channel, and I think I should do something really something really cool for my 100th, as it is kind of a big milestone. I have some great ideas – several that even involve singing, which Miss Narrator has warned against several times – but I would love feedback from all my viewers and fans to see if there’s anything fun or special people would like to see? More PVP, big boss fight, me telling campfire stories, whatever… so if you have ideas, feel free to let me know and I’ll see what I can do!
I’ll definitely have to brush my fur for this one…
Ditto versus Baron Mordecai!
Here it is – as ongoing coverage of the GREAT Wizard 101 Halloween events and quests, I have fought and defeated Baron Mordecai!! This was actually a much tougher fight that I anticipated, with the dreaded Baron having 2000 health and tossing lots of damage boosts and high damage spells like Skeletal Pirate at me. In the end I was successful of course, and Madame Jasmine and I claimed victory over the evil Baron of Nightmares and claimed our reward, but it was a tough and exciting fight!
Also there is a brief ‘sneak peek’ of Phillip, one of our new kittens, who decided to get involved with the video making process…
Ditto’s Current Games – Oct 15th
So here is my weekly feature about what games I’m playing now and how I’m enjoying them – gaming from a Fabricated American point of view!
Wizard 101
So as always my first game is my beloved Wizard 101. Of course the big news this week is Celestia hitting the test realm, but that wasn’t really the big news for everyone’s favorite furry orange monster – I’m only level 33, so I can’t really do much with Celestia. I did hop onto test realm and bought some new mounts – I’m in LOVE with the ancient Koi, it’s such a fun and awesome mount! I can’t wait to get one in the real game – so cute! And Madame Jasmine likes it to!
One big game change this week for me was changing my secondary school spells. After 33 levels it has become clear to me that I am a much more aggressive player than I thought I was and my play style is more about damage and knocking my opponent out fast – I rarely used my satyr healing spell and that was all I used from the life school. So what did I switch to?
Death. Yup – I’ve trained death to Feint and then grabbed the elemental trap and blade from Krokotopia. I hit Jaques the Scratcher for over 2000 damage and he didn’t even get me below 1000 health, so yeah, I do enjoy the big damage numbers.
Instead of my traditional screen shot for Wizard 101 this week I’m putting a video in of some of my Halloween questing, since I realized I hadn’t posted a game play video and people like those – so here you go!
Lord of the Rings Online
I’ve only played about an hour of LOTRO this week because I was having so much fun in Wizard 101. I DID get all the way to The Shire and actually made it to BAG END! Ancestral home of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins!! I have to say, this is where LOTRO excels – it literally pulls you into Tokein’s world, and if you’re a fan of the books, it’s details like this that make you say ‘ooooh, ahhhhh…’ I totally did the tourist screenshot thing here, my dwarf Ditto Monster in front of Bag End… So cool!!
Backyard Monsters
Big re-design of my yard this week and though I am taking a bit more damage to my outer buildings in this configuration, no attackers have even gotten close to my town hall or my core buildings, which is the main point now. So far it’s working out really well for me, though I think I’ll continue to tweak it. The PvP aspects here are interesting because when you’re attacked you don’t have any way of interacting or preventing damage outside of the defenses you’ve prepared in advance. It’s all about the strategy of your yard and how you’ve set up your towers and lasers. Yup – still fun, I play at least once a day…
Game of the Week
So my game of the week this week was from a suggestion made last week – I started playing Toon Town Online.
So I know this is an older game, at least 5 years old, but I have to say, it’s still fun. The basics are a lot like Wizard 101 – you have a similar combat setup (though totally different combat mechanics) similar kinds of quests, housing – it’s just with cartoon characters instead of student wizards. There is also far less ‘story’ to it – it’s pretty light on storyline overall – but it’s still clever and cute.
I created an orange cat character and named him Ditto Monster, and right now he’s got a squirt gun and he can throw pies, which is pretty hilarious, I like the character design.
The game certainly shows it’s age a bit, but I think it’s something I’ll play once in a while – while not as in depth as Wizard 101 it’s still quite a lot of fun overall!
That’s it for this week – stay safe, have fun, see you in The Spiral!!!

Ditto’s Video Bloggy Thingy – Oct 13, 2010
So here is my weekly video bloggy thingy. OK, I was a little lazy this week, because my roommate was busy in the living room and Mythbusters was coming on and I REALLY love Mythbusters, but I wanted to get a video out anyway… well, there’s not a ton to talk about this week if you’re only level 33 and can’t actually get into Celestia, but I do manage to babble on for three or four minutes anyway. Enjoy!!
Why I’m not worried about Celestia
There are an awful lot of GREAT articles and videos out there right now around the test realm and Celestia in general. Indeed, it seems a sort of Celestia-fever has gripped much of the Wizard 101 community, and for good reason! Celestia looks amazing, the new level 58 school spells are awesome, and just look at all the new gear, mounts, quests… the list goes on and on! It wouldn’t be at all surprising to find yourself a little Celestia crazy right now!
In addition to my ‘Celestia Fever’, though, I started to notice other symptoms as creeping in well… I’m only level 32, you see, and with all this Celestia hype it certainly makes one want to ‘hurry up’ and get through Marleybone, then dash through Mooshu and finally, defeat Malistaire in a blaze of meteors and helephants so I can get into Celestia and start checking out the new stuff!!
But then, as I ran past a yellow exclamation point over the head of a defenseless Marleybone citizen (They don’t use magic, you know… poor pups), thinking ‘ah, that’s just a side quest, and it will probably take me forever to get through it – I just need to finish the main quest line.’, I stopped in my tracks.
‘Getting there fast’ is certainly not what Wizard 101 is all about, and it never has been… In fact, some of my very favorite quests are some of the more entertaining ‘side quests’ that are out there. I think about all the work the developers at Kingsisle put into all these great side quests, some of them interconnected, all of them well thought out and entertaining, and I think of how much great work I would be passing by trying to ‘get there fast’ and see the ‘new shiny’ as soon as it comes out.
The truth is, though, that Celestia isn’t going anywhere. It will be there for me to explore whether I make level 50 next week, or next month, or next year. In the meantime, I have SIX other worlds, all exciting and fun, that I will be exploring and adventuring through, all different, all awesome, and I can’t wait to finish them all!
Of course on the other side of the crown, I would LOVE it if Kingsisle did something similar to Grizzleheim and gave lower level players small sneak peeks into Celestia, doing small quests or talking to NPCs, maybe getting access to a few lower level Celestian items in the shops. But if they don’t I’m OK with it, I can wait, and I know that, as with everything else KI does, it will certainly be worth the wait!
So if you’re level 48+ and have defeated Malistaire, congrats to you, Celestia beckons and I’m sure at level cap there is a LOT you’d like to see and do now, with new worlds and spells and quests and bosses to face, new undersea adventures to be had! If I were in your place I’d be truly GIDDY with excitement! But for everyone else – the casual players and the newbies and everyone out there like me who is just taking their time, enjoying all these wonderful, rich, and amazing worlds that have been created for us, I’d say keep enjoying it and keep questing, do all those side quests, find all those poor lost birds and cats and oysters for Zeke, and before you know it you’ll be walking into this amazing new undersea realm.
Of course by the time I get there, there might be ANOTHER new world even beyond that one – but that’s OK, because I’ll get through Celestia in my own time and then that next realm will be ready for me too!
See you in The Spiral!!
PLOX!!
Welcome to Celestia!!!
So Celestia is officially on the test realm!! Of course I can’t actually get to Celestia yet, since I’m not level 48 and haven’t defeated Malistaire, but there is a lot more to this update than just Celestia! First – new mounts! The turtles are SO CUTE!!! But I have to admit, I am completely in love with the Ancient Koi mount!! It’s so cool and wonderful, I want one! Well, in the test realm I have one, I want one in the real world too!
There is so much more to this update that we’ll all be exploring over the next few days, I’m sure there will be lots and lots of great stuff coming soon! Celestia is finally here – yay!!!
Ditto’s Current Games….
Here we are again, another Friday (Though as I type this it’s technically Thursday, but I won’t post until tomorrow, so for you, it’s Friday…) and here are the games I’m playing now. I’m going to start off with my current and then talk about my new ‘Game of the Week’… We’ll see how this goes – this post has been getting the most hits each week so I guess lots of people like it! Feel free to give me suggestions, etc… too!
Wizard 101
Of course I start off with my wonderful Wizard 101. Digby is still level 31, as I haven’t had a lot of time to play this week. currently he is fighting giant spiders in Hyde Park – why is it always Spiders?? I’m also farming scrap iron to finish up my crafting quests – that’s been really time consuming, and I never see it in the bazaar either. I’m almost there though – only a few more pieces needed to finish up my tasks.
LOTRO
Yes, still playing, though again, not much this week. Ditto made level 15 and I got a nice surprise – he can add a surname, meaning he now has a first and last name! Of course that last name is Monster, so I am now a dwarf known as ‘Ditto Monster’! I am also trying my hand at crafting, or more specifically, ‘resource gathering’ – I became an ‘explorer’ who can gather wood and minerals and ore, natural resources, and supply other crafters with them, but not really ‘craft’ anything myself. That’s OK though – I think it will be a nice side income for me to get a house soon, which are EXPENSIVE!! In Wizard 101 I had enough gold to get a house when I wanted one – in LOTRO I don’t know how I’m going to get that much cash without doing a lot of auction house selling and resource farming.
One cool thing – I moved my happy little dwarf out of the cold and windy northern Dwarf areas and down into the lush green elf-lands! It’s so beautiful – kind of breathtaking really.
Backyard Monsters
Some big changes in this game this week – they have added new ‘wild monster tribes’ that you can battle for a PVP-like experience without actually PVPing someone, and these tribes will attack you back. It is actually a big change in game play and overall strategy, because fighting these tribes isn’t about stealing resources like regular PVP, it’s all about protecting your town hall and taking out their town hall. I’m going to be re-designing my yard to better account for this, as right now my resources are really well protected, but my town hall is rather exposed.
School of Wizardry
I’m not posting about this one after this week. I’m level 125 and I believe I’ve unlocked all quests, so now I’m just going through the motions.
The Game of the Week!!
Here it is, Ditto’s ‘Game of the Week’!! This week I will be talking about ‘Sea Fight‘, a Free to Play pirate game. I found this game thanks to an ad on Facebook while I was playing ‘Backyard Monsters’, and the concept is simple – you have a ship, you sail around, you kill sea monsters and sink other ships. Not much more to it.
Overall the game is kind of a train wreck, sorry to say. The user interface is really simple, but that’s because you can’t do anything with it – to do anything other than sail around and kill sea monsters, you have to log out of the game, go to the website, and use the web-based interface there. And it’s not even a very good web-based interface.
They do start you out well, with a decent ship and both in game gold and ‘pearls’, which I believe is the ‘real money’ currency, and that allows you to better outfit your ship with faster sails, more guns, ammo like exploding cannonballs and flaming pumpkins, plus a crew of swarthy pirates. All the ‘elite’ gear does cost real world currency, but it’s fully playable and pretty fun – though limited – with the in-game gold stuff. I haven’t tried PVP yet, which seems to be a BIG part of this game, so my opinions might change on the viability of the ‘free’ stuff if I come up against someone fully tricked out in premium gear.
One of the crazy things about it is that you can complete a quest, but you apparently need to PAY to get the reward form the quests. Usually $.99 per quest. Seriously? That’s a bit crazy, sorry..
Overall it’s a fun diversion, it was very easy to sign up and get playing, and I do like pirates – who doesn’t? I’m known as ‘Captain Ditto’ and sail around slaying huge kraken and monster whales and destroy Blackbeard’s ships like it’s going out of style – wonder where he gets them all – but the game doesn’t have enough ‘hook’ to grab my furry orange attention and keep me playing. I think next week will be another ‘Game of the Week’, though I might update on this one again, depending on how things go…
Ditto’s Weekly video bloggy-thingy…
So here it is, my weekly video bloggy thingy. First off I say hello to all the Wizard 101 people going to the online games conference – it would be so much fun to go and hang out there, since I am probably the only Fabricated American games blogger out there. I have decided I’m going to make my ‘what Ditto is playing’ article a weekly event, and find a few more smallish games to play and give updates on, as some of the games I play get kind of boring, they don’t change much. Also, I’m talking about Halloween!!!
So here it is, my weekly video bloggy thingy, I hope you enjoy!!
See you in the Spiral!!
PLOX!
This is Halloween, this is Halloween…
So it is once again my favorite time of year – I am a monster, after all, and we monsters do enjoy the Halloween season!! Of course I am GREATLY looking forward to all the Halloween fun in the Spiral, but I’m also bringing some of my love of Wizard 101 out of the Spiral and into my yard, as a Halloween display! Hey, if they can pull students and pop stars into the spiral, I can certainly pull out a young Pyromancer and a field guard!! There’s lots more to the display, too – we’re all still working on it and I’ll be sure to keep updating as we add things! There will eventually be some video too! So far I only have some daytime pictures – it all lights up at night, too – I’ll have pictures of that as well, it looks really good!
Happy Haunting!!!!
My Current Games
I got some great feedback the last time I did this, so I’m going to do it again – it might become a weekly thing, I don’t know.
Wizard 101
First and foremost is, of course, my beloved Wizard 101. I’m now level 31, two bars away from 32, and deep in the heart of Marleybone! I’ve completed the Ironworks and I’m ready for Newgate Prison, but for now I’m focusing on the many, many side quests, because I’m really busy with other real life stuff and cant’ break out the video equipment as ofter to get fun play session videos.
And just so everyone is aware, Mashable is currently running voting for best online game – you can vote for Wizard 101 and show your support for this awesome game! And apparently you can vote daily!
Clone Wars Adventures
Well, I did get my real name, so I’m known as ‘Ditto Monster’ in-game, and I’ve been playing a lot of the mini games – which is pretty much all this is, a group of Clone Wars themed mini games. It’s well done and really entertaining, but I’ll admit, I’m a bit disappointed in how little you get to do for free – I’ve already gotten to max allowed ‘free’ level on a few of the mini games, and even when decorating my apartment the furniture vendors have furniture there that you can buy for in-game currency, but you’re not allowed to buy it unless you subscribe. Still, this has almost completely replaced my Shockwave addiction for fun and silly mini-games!
Backyard Monsters
OK I’m definitely still enjoying this daily distraction – I’ve gotten all my defensive towers up to max level and I’m currently building up my monstrous hordes to sweep across the landscape, bwahahaha!!! Oh, sorry, got carried away there. Anyway – still a cute and fun game, I think my focus will now be optimizing my defenses, kind of like a tower defense game with PVP elements…
Lord of the Rings Online
This game does keep impressing me. I’m just about to ding level 15, still exploring the depths of the frost-shrouded dwarven lands with my fearless hunter, Ditto. There is so much to do in this game I find I sometimes get a little overwhelmed, but the visuals and the amazing soundtrack always keep me engaged in the game world. I’m not sure I’ll be one of those ‘finish the whole game’ kind of players, as the scale of it seems far beyond what I’m used to, but I’ll certainly spend a bit of time every week exploring the gorgeous lands of Middle Earth…
One thing to note – unlike Wizard 101, you cant’ just hop between servers to meet people in LOTRO – the server you start a character on is the server they’re locked into unless you pay for a ‘premium service’ to move your character, so if any ‘twizards’ out there want to try out LOTRO and get together in-game, we should all decide on a single server and create characters there. I play on the Imladris server, character name Ditto, but I’m open to start a ‘twizards’ character on any server if people are interested.
School of Wizardry
I made level 120 and I’m a few days away from ‘finishing’ the game, meaning completing all the ‘lessons’ one time. After that I think it’s just about unlocking special badges and rewards… Yeah, I’m rapidly losing interest here…
I am looking to start trying a few new smaller games – nothing I need to devote a lot of time to, but something fun and entertaining. I’ll let you know what I find, but feel free to drop me suggestions too!! I love finding new games to try!
Ditto’s Video Blog – September 28
So here’s my weekly video blog, and I have a lot to talk about! Yes, hear Ditto sing the Fraggle Rock theme song (Sorry about that – Miss Narrator says I really shouldn’t sing…) and I discuss the ‘Elmo’ controversy – the first real Fabricated American news I get to talk about!!! Plus I talk about Wizard 101, naturally, and some other games I’m playing, like Clone Wars and Backyard Monsters! A fully packed video for this week, I hope everyone likes it!!
See you in The Spiral!!

Ditto saves Selena Gomez – Part 3
The final part of my epic adventures in Crab Alley, where I face the not-so-dreaded King Thermidor and rescue Selena Gomez! There is singing, dancing, Vogon poetry and mad Pyromancer’s skills!!!! You don’t want to miss it!
The Daring Adventures of Ditto, Episode 11 – plus outtakes!!!
Here is the wonderful Daring Adventures of Ditto, as originally heard on Ravenwood Radio Episode 25 – fire study hall!! Join our intrepid duo as they travel through the criminal underworld of Marleybone, dropping meteors on their unsuspecting foes. That’s right – Ditto gets Meteor Strike!!
The Daring Adventures of Ditto – Episode 11
In addition to the regular episode this week, a number of people have asked how Ditto and Miss Narrator keep from laughing while we’re recording these daring adventures… Well, the truth is, we actually don’t – that’s all done in editing, and sometimes we have to do a LOT of editing. I decided to share a bit of what hit the virtual cutting room floor for this past episode, we hope you enjoy it!
As always, thanks to Leesha and Steve and all the crew over at Ravenwood Radio for their continuing support, and thanks for all the great feedback from all our fans and the awesome Wizard 101 community at large!!!
See you in the Spiral!

Ditto Saves Selena Gomez – Part 2
So Madame Jasmine and I, after drinking the water breathing potion, jump into the river in Triton Avenue and find the cool and mysterious Crab Alley! I have to say, the place looks GREAT, and I love the swimming animations! The enemies are great too, the crabs and ‘vicious fish’ are too cool. After this first taste of underwater action, I’m more excited about Celestia than ever!!!
How do you like the new blog?
I did some blog updating today, I changed the layout, header graphic and background around. I think it looks more clear – what do you think?
