KingsIsle has outdone themselves – Winter Wind Tower, with pictures!
Sometimes a game does something that’s just so over the top awesome, it’s hard to take it all in. Today, Wizard 101 launched some new bundle cards, the Pagoda Tower bundle and Majestic bundle cards, and I was fortunate enough to get my furry hands on a Majestic Bundle. I have to say, this bundle is one of the best I’ve ever seen – I am in love with every piece of it!

The centerpiece is, of course, Winter Wind Tower, a MASSIVE house that includes a castle, a separate PVP dueling island, a magic mirror, tower library, and lots and lots of land. The architecture and detail are beautiful and really flow, and I love the separate PVP ‘island’ – it’s a nice touch.
Along with the castle, there is a dragon mount. Yes, a big, green, awesome looking dragon mount – he’s so cool. I’m usually not a fan of the big wingspan mounts, because they take up a lot of screen real estate, but the dragon just looks impressive! He’s a handsome fellow, to be sure!
Of course with the inclusion of the special ‘Strange Beast’ pet, I’m not sure the mount matters, because KingsIsle has created the CUTEST PET EVER!!! The ‘strange beast’ is basically an adorable squirrel with dragon wings and the cutest animations I’ve ever seen… I love him and want to cuddle with him forever and feed him pie!!
There’s nice armor, the True Silver armor, and the ‘Silver Lance of Daybreak’, a beautiful and pretty powerful lance, both with nice stats and cards attached – they looks really good, too, and fit very well with the ‘Avalon’ theme.
There is also a new interactive tapestry to Caliburn in Avalon, which is nice, because it will be a WHILE before I get to see Avalon doing the normal questing route. I haven’t really explored yet, but I’m excited to try!
So overall, this is a VERY impressive bundle card, and may be my favorite house so far. It’s bug, beautiful, and I’m sure it has all kinds of secret nooks and crannies I still need to explore. Of course there’s the ‘decorating’ part, too… that will take a while, but I’m up for the challenge! Maybe I’ll ask Paige Moonshade for some help 🙂

I’m thrilled that you showed us so many photos of what the new Bundle contains. The castle is beautiful: I could imagine putting some of red sofas in there and wishing that I could sit down … The pet is adorable. He/she looks so happy. I definitely had weapon envy when I saw the staff that you got with the bundle. I also don’t really like the size of the mounts but I would like to fly around on a dragon. I wish we could have mount races. Maybe in some of that unused land in MooShu. As always, I thoroughly enjoy what you write. Thank you.

Hmm, ditto. you know those mountains to the left of the portal to the duel island? well, at the very bottom of them, look for a shaded part that has grass under it: it’s a secret passage to a pond-island, plus a huge cavern.

Huh? I’ve looked and I’ve never seen the opening, I have just got the House at game stop, I’ve seen the island from the pvp Island, but have never found the telaporter, So can yo give me more deatails please?, Thank you!

there is one more building you can see from the teleporter to arena. but i’m not sure how to get there
