Ditto Gets a New Mission!
Ditto returns to Thurston Plunkett to Discuss the news that Morganthe is behind all the attacks against the Crustacean Empire – she’s after the secrets of Sun Magic (she does look like she needs a tan.. she’s very pale) and Ditto has to stop her! More daring battles are sure to be ahead, and next up, there be pirates!

I did not realize that the first video I posted ended abruptly until Eric Windcatcher pointed it out. Here are the final minutes of this epic battle, and the big secret that is revealed once Glauco the Lophtian is at Ditto’s mercy!

After Ditto collected lots of sea mold and special horns, I am ready to face Glauco! This is one of the biggest boss fights so far -TWO rank 10 bosses – so I grab a life henchman to hep me out and keep me alive. This is an intense (and long) fight, with all kinds of big action and awesome strategy – it was fun!

Ditto meets Thurston and the Crustacean Emperor
After defeating the Lophtian Boss Nuncio, the crabby guy Nestor sends Ditto to a froggy guy named Thurston. Ditto learns that this scary lady Morganthe might be behind all this bad stuff and needs to find out more! Ditto goes to talk to the Crustacean Emperor and does battle with his outrageous accent to see what else can be done do to help.
New Video – Ditto versus Nuncio #wizard101
To help the Crustaceans, Ditto needs to face down Nuncio, a serious fire boss with a terrible accent. Like many fire fights, this one is intense and needs careful planning, nerves of steel, some well timed healing spells, and a bit of luck. This was definitely a cool fight, and it was touch and go for a while, with Nuncio and company dealing out some heavy damage (including a first turn fire dragon!)

Ditto searches for lost weapons
After defeating tons of pisceans and lophtians, Ditto returns to Nestor to see what else he needs. It seems the bad guys stole all the crabs weapons, and the crustaceans need Dittos help recovering them.
Ditto battles the cute and terrifying Lophians…
Ditto is still battling his way through the Crustacean Empire, and needs to defeat a number of Lophians. Well, it turns out that Lophians are both cute and kind of terrifying! They are these cute little fishy looking things, and they look so happy and non threatening, but they are rank 10 death school and know how to throw down in a duel! They are neat. It didn’t take me too long to make short work of them – get it, short work? Because they’re so short? Anyway…
Ditto battling Piscean Centurions deep within the Crustacean Empire!
After many duels and amazing battles, Ditto is back with new videos! We kick things off with a cool underwater battle on a hot summer day – Ditto fighting Piscean Centurions to help the Crabs get their empire back! They were tough adversaries, but they were no match for my Pyromancers’ skill!!
Ditto Enters The Solarium
Ditto has finally opened the way to the dark and mysterious Crustacean Empire, home of The Solarium. What mysteries await Ditto in the murky depths? Well, definitely a lot of battles, I’m pretty sure of that.
Ditto Fixes the Sun Portal!
Maybe this one should be filed under ‘Blooper’, because Ditto gets totally lost looking for base camp – like, totally lost and turned around. The saddest part is that I realized after the fact that I could have just hit the ‘home’ button to get right where I wanted to go…
Anyway, after defeating Maglump the magnificent, I show the lost portal piece to Engineer Montgomery, who agrees that it is, in fact, a portal piece, and sends me off to see Edith Benchley again. So Ditto fixes the Sun Portal, leading to the ancient and mysterious Solarium…
Ditto Fights Maglump again – this time with full health!
Ditto once again faces the evil (but very cool looking) Maglump in the Science Center! This time, however, Ditto has a new strategy – namely starting the fight with full health and then using some shields…
Ditto learns a valuable lesson about boss fights…
Ditto has opened the gate control and made it into the Crystal Reactor, ready to face a serious boss battle… well, ALMOST ready… you see , in his rush to reach the end of the quest and defeat the Boss, Ditto made a grave error… he forgot to regenerate and started the boss fight at less than half health!
Needless to say, with a boss fight of this level, I didn’t fare so well and earned myself a one-way trip back to base camp, courtesy of Maglump and the Fishbots. I TOTALLY call dibs on that for a band name, too!! Now I just need to learn how to play an instrument…
Ditto accesses the Gate Control
So Ditto is still in the science center trying to get into the crystal reactor thingy. All he has to do is throw one little gate control lever.
Of course it is never that easy is it? A steam trowler and a steam valet would definitely prefer I didn’t throw that switch, but when has Ditto ever let that stop him?
The Pet-A-Palooza Winners!!
Well here it is – the end of Ditto’s Pet-A-Palooza contest, where I asked you to imagine a major character from Wizard 101 and what kind of pet they would have! I must say – I got many, many GREAT entries; some were really thoughtful, others were cute, and others were just hilarious! I really admire all the creativity, and I congratulate all the winners!
Again, every entry was added to a bug list and then ten winners were chosen randomly, so it was completely fair – everyone had exactly the same choice. Then I went through all the entries and just picked out my favorites – I’m postin gthose here as well, so everyone can enjoy them.

My Favorite Entries!
Taylor GoldenRider – I think that Professor Drake would have a vicious orthrus hound, to chase away those “pests” or so called “students”. Everytime a student he doesn’t like walks into his classroom he can tell his pet to chase them away.
Dakota NightBloom – I think Sylvia Drake would have had a Life Scarab. I think a petite, often over-looked pet would have fit her personality and since the scarab beetle is associated with death and eternal life, it would be a lovely sort of foreshadowing.
Stephanie Frostwielder – I would like to choose Jade Oni as my villain and in my humble opinion, I think Jade Oni would like a mini version of himself as a pet. Just imagine, a HUGE jade oni and a TINY jade oni, just too cute!
Keira Mistcaller – I think professor Cyrus Drake would have a pet BookWorm named Percy. Percy would be a persnickety little worm that would handle Drake’s “Bad Student List” (kinda like Santa’s naughty list). In the evenings prof. Drake and Percy would play Scrabble (Ravenwood edition) and chuckle over the many funny failed spells they had seen from that day’s classes.
Tasha Sparkleheart – I think Belladonna Crisp, the pigswick academy principal has a Golden piggle, she’s probably tired of being surrounded by pigs so she hatches pets often with the hopes of getting a new one only she ends up getting the same pet, a golden piggle, that’s why we get that pet from the quest ‘crime does not pay’
John LegendMancer – I think that Meowiarty has a new breed of Ninja Pig pet, which gives Storm Shield card – Well, Meowiarty is myth schooled & myth is vulnerable to storm damages, Storm Shield helps! And of course, Ninja Pig is stealthy, quick & sneaky thief, The ninja pig can be presumed helping Meowiarty steal items!
Dylan Bearblood – I think that Dworgyn will have a Zombie pet, because he seems like the type of guy to reanimate the dead.
Cole Lifespear – I think Moolinda Wu, my teacher, would have a cute little bone dragon she rescued, and taught it about the school of life, even though it originates from the class of death. She keeps it as a class pet, and it represents harmony between all schools.
Gavin Stormrider – Villian: Morganthe. Pet: (Made up my own) It’s called Bone Spider. (A skeleton of a spider)
Rebecca Nightflower – I chose Zeke – His pet would be a raven so it could help him fly to all the other worlds. Also, he would have a raven so it could carry supplies. Lastly, the raven could send messages to people in other world or around the world he is in.

Ditto’s next Pet-A-Palooza contest – does Malistaire like Piggles??
So here is another fun-filled contest for Pet-A-Palooza! Since I wanted to keep the contests pet-related, and I am currently in the middle of a wonderful Daring Adventure looking for Professor Falmea’s cat on Ravenwood Radio, I had a great idea! We all know that Headmaster Ambrose has a ‘pet’ of sorts with Gamma (Though I’m willing to bet Gamma wouldn’t agree with the role of ‘pet’), but what other pets do our favorite characters have? Does Professor Greyrose have an ice cat? Does Dworgyn have a cuddly black cat, or maybe a wraith? Maybe Professor Drake can’t have a pet, because he’s allergic, and that’s why he’s so grumpy….
What about the bad guys – do the villains have pets? Maybe Malistaire has a cuddly pet Piggle named Chauncey who snuggles with him as they watch TV and plot to take over The spiral! What kind of pet would Rattelbones have? Does the Crab King have a pet hermit crab? Are they related?
So here are the rules – between now and Midnight PST on Saturday June 9th, send me an email to dittocontest@gmail.com with the subject ‘Pet Contest’ and tell me which major character you’re choosing (good guy or villain) and what kind of pet they would have, and why. Make sure you include your wizard’s name as well. Oh, and try to keep it to a few lines – I do have to read all these, and if the response to my last contest is any indication, I’ll be doing a LOT of reading – I can’t wait! So be creative, have fun with it, and definitely don’t be afraid to be silly! Try to stick to pets that exist in-game, but if you have a good idea and a good reason to get creative, go for it!!
For choosing the winners, I want to make sure it’s completely fair, and choosing winners based on my opinion of their entries is really subjective, so this will be a random number drawing. I will, however, be posting my favorite entries to my website, so get creative and you could see your entry here!
And just to be perfectly clear, because it’s a random number drawing, getting posted to the website doesn’t mean you win the prize, and winning the prize doesn’t mean I’ll post your entry to the website! Also, I doubt if I will be able to post ALL my favorites, because I get a LOT of entries for this kind of contest, and many of them are really, really good.

Ditto is Disappointed in the Science Center…
So I was all excited to make it into the next dome in the Science Center – all I needed to do was activate some hydraulics, and I was home free… of course to activate the hydraulics, I need to find fuses. Of course the local Celestian Radio Shack has been closed for a few hundred years, so I have to get the fuses the old fashioned way – blow up stuff, namely more Water-Matons…
Ditto in the Conservatory with the Candlestick…
I’m willing to bet not many people understand the reference in the title… Oh well, great memories of being a little monster…
So Ditto finally has the key to unlock the conservatory and grab the research books that professor smarty-pants needs, but of course there are a couple bad guys who don’t want this to happen… Ditto makes short work of them, of course – Pyromancer Power!!
Actually this fight was a lot easier than I thought – normally these locked instances contain scary boss fights or major gauntlet battles – this one wasn’t bad. Call me pleasantly surprised 🙂
Ditto gets the key to the… uh… fountain?
After fighting many many water-matons, Ditto collects all the power cores to activate the fountain and get a special key – but then there are the flanges! Won’t someone think of the flanges??
Ditto Needs Power Cores!
Deep in the Science Center Ditto needs three power cores to get a key from a fountain to unlock the Conservatory. I’m not making this up. To get these cores, Ditto needs to defeat water-matons… Lots and lots of water-matons. Let the fun begin!
Ditto and the Towers of Power
Ditto has finished connecting the power and now must power on the Galvanic Towers around Engineer Montgomery’s campsite! Turning on all those galvanic towers makes my fur all tingly and stand up on end!
