Ditto finds Neptunes’ Seal

Just a quick little vide0 – Ditto talking to Nestor after finding ‘Neptunes’ Seal’ – did you know that Neptunes’ Seal is a ring and not an actual seal?  Anyway, this prepares him for a big boss battle – coming soon!

Ditto’s Video Bloggy Thingy, 4th of July Edition! Happy 4th of July!

Hi everybody – it is the Ditto, for my special 4th of July edition of my Video Bloggy Thingy!  Happy 4th of July!

Ditto’s Video Bloggy Thingy – 4th of July
(more…)

Ditto searches for lost weapons

After defeating tons of pisceans and lophtians, Ditto returns to Nestor to see what else he needs. It seems the bad guys stole all the crabs weapons, and the crustaceans need Dittos help recovering them.

Ditto battles the cute and terrifying Lophians…

Ditto is still battling his way through the Crustacean Empire, and needs to defeat a number of Lophians.  Well, it turns out that Lophians are both cute and kind of terrifying!  They are these cute little fishy looking things, and they look so happy and non threatening, but they are rank 10 death school and know how to throw down in a duel!  They are neat.  It didn’t take me too long to make short work of them – get it, short work?  Because they’re so short?  Anyway…

Ditto battling Piscean Centurions deep within the Crustacean Empire!

After many duels and amazing battles, Ditto is back with new videos!  We kick things off with a cool underwater battle on a hot summer day – Ditto fighting Piscean Centurions to help the Crabs get their empire back!  They were tough adversaries, but they were no match for my Pyromancers’ skill!!

Ditto’s Videos Bloggy Thingy June 25th, 2012

Here we are with another video bloggy thingy – me have not been doing these weekly lately, probably because things have been busy around here.  But, here me is, yay!

So as usual, first off is the twitter report, where Ditto now has 812 followers!  Thanks to Everloop and Hupaditty, and Christopher, my newest followers, but everyone else out there who follows Ditto – me really like it.

In some kind of big news, Ditto has now posted more than 400 videos to his Youtube channel!!  Seriously – that’s pretty amazing.  I need to start planning for my big 500th video – me have no idea what to do, but me have some time…. me have to do something awesome!

So for Wizard 101 news, me is in The Solarium in the Crustacean Empire, fighting shark guys.  It’s really exciting, and me still doesn’t quite understand how all my fire spells work so effectively underwater.  Maybe Neil deGrasse Tyson can figure it out.
So me should be finished with Solarium soon, then onwards towards Zafaria!!  Maybe Ditto will be able to finish Zafaria and Avalon before the next big world comes out?  Me still can’t wait to see Zafaria!  Very exciting!

And finally, for many people it is a very special time of year – a time of happiness and popsicles and grass stains and bike rides and frisbees and spending so much time in the swimming pool your fingers and toes get all pruny…   that’s right, it is summer vacation!!  This is one of Ditto’s favorite times of year, because you can play outside and do lots of fun things!  I just wanted to say, for anyone out there on summer vacation, make sure you always play safe, both online and outside!  Keep summer vacation fun and happy, like it should be.  Oh, and don’t forget the sun screen!!

Meteor Strike!!
Plox

Ditto Enters The Solarium

Ditto has finally opened the way to the dark and mysterious Crustacean Empire, home of The Solarium.  What mysteries await Ditto in the murky depths?  Well, definitely a lot of battles, I’m pretty sure of that.

Ditto Fixes the Sun Portal!

Maybe this one should be filed under ‘Blooper’, because Ditto gets totally lost looking for base camp – like, totally lost and turned around. The saddest part is that I realized after the fact that I could have just hit the ‘home’ button to get right where I wanted to go…

Anyway, after defeating Maglump the magnificent, I show the lost portal piece to Engineer Montgomery, who agrees that it is, in fact, a portal piece, and sends me off to see Edith Benchley again. So Ditto fixes the Sun Portal, leading to the ancient and mysterious Solarium…

Ditto Fights Maglump again – this time with full health!

Ditto once again faces the evil (but very cool looking) Maglump in the Science Center!  This time, however, Ditto has a new strategy – namely starting the fight with full health and then using some shields…

Ditto learns a valuable lesson about boss fights…

Ditto has opened the gate control and made it into the Crystal Reactor, ready to face a serious boss battle… well, ALMOST ready… you see , in his rush to reach the end of the quest and defeat the Boss, Ditto made a grave error… he forgot to regenerate and started the boss fight at less than half health!

Needless to say, with a boss fight of this level, I didn’t fare so well and earned myself a one-way trip back to base camp, courtesy of Maglump and the Fishbots. I TOTALLY call dibs on that for a band name, too!! Now I just need to learn how to play an instrument…

Ditto accesses the Gate Control

So Ditto is still in the science center trying to get into the crystal reactor thingy. All he has to do is throw one little gate control lever.
Of course it is never that easy is it? A steam trowler and a steam valet would definitely prefer I didn’t throw that switch, but when has Ditto ever let that stop him?

Ditto’s Video Bloggy Thingy, June 12th, 2012

Transcript:

Wow, it sure has been a while, huh? Well, don’t worry, Ditto is fine and still playing lots of Wizard101, and (cough) other games that are also very fun. IT just sometimes tricky to do all the video stuff and everything, especially with big stuff like Pet-A-Palooza going on! Congratulations to all the Pet-A-Palooza winners – all the fan sites did a great job with all those contests! I think Wizard101 players have the very best community out there, and look at all the cool stuff that happens!!

Speaking of the community, for the Twitter report, me broke 800 followers!! 802 now – can you believe it? So thanks to Alejandro, Alric, and Sorceress Miklai for pushin me over 800!! Next stop – 1000!!! OK, technically next stop 803, but you know what me mean…

So yes, In Wizard 101 me has finished the Science Center and has opened the next portal to the solarium. Me have a feeling this not really about getting a tan… Me not tan well anyway with all this fur.

In other news, well there not much other news, other than me got a new kite – maybe me take a video of me flying kites soon! Ditto love to fly kites it’s so much fun to go out to a park and fly colorful kites in the warm summer breeze… one of Ditto’s favorite things, definitely!

Stay tuned for lots more videos from Celestia and beyond – I’m sure I’ll be in Zafaria very soon… yup, any minute now… I’m sure!!

Ditto is Disappointed in the Science Center…

So I was all excited to make it into the next dome in the Science Center – all I needed to do was activate some hydraulics, and I was home free… of course to activate the hydraulics, I need to find fuses. Of course the local Celestian Radio Shack has been closed for a few hundred years, so I have to get the fuses the old fashioned way – blow up stuff, namely more Water-Matons…

Ditto in the Conservatory with the Candlestick…

I’m willing to bet not many people understand the reference in the title… Oh well, great memories of being a little monster…

So Ditto finally has the key to unlock the conservatory and grab the research books that professor smarty-pants needs, but of course there are a couple bad guys who don’t want this to happen… Ditto makes short work of them, of course – Pyromancer Power!!

Actually this fight was a lot easier than I thought – normally these locked instances contain scary boss fights or major gauntlet battles – this one wasn’t bad. Call me pleasantly surprised 🙂

Ditto gets the key to the… uh… fountain?

After fighting many many water-matons, Ditto collects all the power cores to activate the fountain and get a special key – but then there are the flanges! Won’t someone think of the flanges??

Ditto Needs Power Cores!

Deep in the Science Center Ditto needs three power cores to get a key from a fountain to unlock the Conservatory. I’m not making this up. To get these cores, Ditto needs to defeat water-matons… Lots and lots of water-matons. Let the fun begin!

Ditto and the Towers of Power

Ditto has finished connecting the power and now must power on the Galvanic Towers around Engineer Montgomery’s campsite!  Turning on all those galvanic towers makes my fur all tingly and stand up on end!

Ditto in the Science Center – questing and dueling!

Ditto is doing quests in the Science Center – he turns in a couple quests, then gets sent out to find engineering tools.  In the middle of searching for the tools, he is attacked by vicious aqua-bots (Not to be confused with the amazing Aquabats!)   Ditto is almost done with the Science Center, and very nearly finished with Celestia!

Ditto is turning on Galvanic Towers – Is that smart surrounded by salt water?

Ditto is exploring the Science Center now, and there is lots of science stuff… like these big sparky galvanic towers, for example!  You know, it’s probably not all that safe to be playing with big electrical things surrounded by salt water, but we won’t think about that too much – Ditto got the job done with a minimum of singed fur…

And don’t forget Ditto and Chip’s great ‘Play Outside‘ video – it’s definitely worth watching!!

Ditto and Chip Play Outside!

Playing video games is definitely lots of fun, but it’s a lot of fun to do other things too…  See what it takes for Chip to convince Ditto to stop playing his new game and enjoy having fun playing outside!! Playing outside and being active isn’t just fun, it’s really good for you!

Ditto and Chip – Let’s Play Outside!

Transcript:

Ditto is playing Video  Games when Chip comes in

Chip:  Hey Ditto, want to go play outside?

Ditto:  No, me playing a new video game, it’s really fun.  Maybe later, OK?

Chip:  Aw, but it’s the first sunny day we’ve had in a week – wouldn’t it be more fun to ply outside?

Ditto:  Maybe later Chip, OK?  Me playing a game..

Chip:  Aw… Ok.

A few minutes later, Chip has an idea…

Chip:  Hey Ditto, want to try a fun new game?

Ditto:  New game?  Ooh, yeah – what kind of game?

Chip:  It’s a physics-based action game – you need to move your ‘avatar’ properly to play.

Ditto:  Oh that sounds fun!  Me love physics games! What’s the website?

Chip:  There’s no website, this game needs… specialized hardware.  Follow me!

Next scene – Ditto and Chip are outside playing on the swings.

Ditto:  That was pretty clever, Chip – you’re right, this is lots more fun and it’s a really nice day!

Chip:  Yeah, it’s a lot more fun, and healthier too!  Yay!

Ditto:  Yay, wind in my fir, wind in my fur!!

Ditto’s spoiler free Avengers review!

Ditto did make it out to see Avengers over the weekend, like a lot of people did, apparently, and loved the movie – but it was definitely missing something. Here is Ditto’s review of Avengers, from a Fabricated American point of view!

Transcript:

While many people have already said how awesome Avengers is and how Joss Whedon certainly got everything right with his superhero smorgasbord, nobody has yet pointed out the one glaring omission from the film yet. You see, with such an all-star cast of heroes and the obvious re-writing of comic book canon, my big question is this:
Where are the Fabricated Americans?

This movie would have been the perfect vehicle to pull out all the big guns, like Super Grover!! But instead, they decide to give us a pitch-perfect Hulk who regularly steals the scene.

Yes, as written the movie is AMAZING – you have the rock star Tony Stark, the stoic and earnest Agent Coulson, who actually gets a first name in this feature. You have the man out of time, Captain America, with his sense of duty more than enough to make up for his lack of fashion sense. You have Thor, looking like an athletic but angry ken doll, Whedon’s contractually obligated ‘strong female character’ Black widow, AKA Buffy the alien slayer (who is awesome!) and her arrow-slinging partner Hawkeye. Then of course you have ‘The boss’, Nick Fury, whose no-nonsense approach to leadership includes the occasional use of a rocket launcher.

The team is pitted against Thor’s demigod half-brother Loki who is annoyed because Thor gets a better costume than he does (I mean come on – those horns are just so 80s). The movie also pits our heroes against an incredible alien force, which allows for maximum carnage and for each of the heroes to get several great ‘hero moments’ throughout, as well as injecting some serious humor, something Whedon excels at.

Overall I couldn’t recommend this movie enough, though I do genuinely wish they had taken the road less traveled and added a Fabricated hero. Just imagine the awesomeness of Thor being cornered by the enemy, things looking grim, when out of the sky falls Super Grover, taking out the bad guys and being adorable doing it…

Overall I give avengers five our of five pies… No wait, ten out of ten! I like pie!

Ditto’s Video Bloggy Thingy – May The Fourth Be With You!

Well it’s been a while since I’ve done a video bloggy thingy, as I have been working with Chip on safety videos – we hope you like them.  The video we’re currently filming requires a nice sunny day and it has been raining all week and we’ve got to wait to finsih it, so I decided to do a good old fashioned video bloggy thingy, where I talk about Twitter, Wizard1o1, and even a little Pirate101 talk!!  I hope you enjoy!

Transcript:

Good morning everybody, and May the Fourth be with you!  So it has been a while since I’ve done a video bloggy thingy.  Chip has been helping me with more safety videos – we hope you like them.  We’ve got a lot more coming too, plus a review of Avengers that shoud go up today or tomorrow – a Fabricated American’s take on The Avengers….

So what else?  Well, for the Twitter report, I am up to 738 followers!  So cool!  I think I’ll do something fun when I hit 750, and something HUGE when I hit 1000!  I mean, 1000 followers?  Wow!

For Wizard 101 I am still in Celestia, but nearly done (I think) – I’m about half way through the Science Center and still need to do the Crustacean Empire, the Chancel, and the Trial of the Spheres, then it’s off to Zafaria or Wintertusk, I’m not sure yet – maybe I’ll take a vote?

As for the OTHER game, Pirate101, well I… [Sorry, still under NDA] …And you know how fun THAT is!!  I can’t wait to start blogging about my adventures there!

That’s all for this week, stay tuned for lots more videos and fun!  See you in the spiral, either with a wand or on a pirate ship!

Ditto explores the Lunarium! So sparkly!

Finally able to enter the building itself, Ditto and Madame Jasmine are stunned by the huge interior and all the sparkles! It’s so sparkly and shiny! There’s lots to see and, of course, lots to battle as Ditto explores the Lunarium and continues on his quest.

Ditto activates a robot and gets into the Lunarium!

Ditto finally defeats the three guardians holding three pieces of the incantation keeping the Stellar Protector shut down. Ditto returns to Koltan Gloomfane, who gives him the activation code for the out of order Stellar Protector. Ditto activates the protector and gets access to the inner sanctum of the Lunarium… Things are getting very interesting!
