Ditto is interested in Fashion!!! Wizard101 Contest!
Ditto is finally ready to reveal his September contest – the prizes are hair styles and shiny amulets, so this contests is all about fashion!!
So what’s the contest? I want you to color or otherwise modify a picture of Ditto showing him with a funny hairstyle, or wearing an amulet, or any other fashion accessory you can think of. You can start with the sample coloring picture below, or create your own masterpiece – it’s totally up to you!! Send the picture as an attachment to dittocontest@gmail.com with the subject ‘Fashion Contest’, between now and Saturday, September 28th at midnight EST, and I will randomly choose winners on Sunday, September 29th. Don’t forget to include your wizard name, and remember, only one entry per person please – let’s keep it fair! I will post all the winners in a special gallery here, too, so make sure your picture of Ditto is fun and creative!

So what are the prizes? Well they’re pretty awesome!
Hairstyles:
Codes redeem for two random hairstyles from the following list: Kestrel, Owl, Martlet, Housemartin, Swan, Cha-Cha, Tango, Swing, Foxtrot, Rumba.
Amulets
Codes redeem for one random Mastery Amulet, PLUS a chance at one random Exalted Amulet.
Crowns
Codes redeem for one random value of Crowns from the following list:
50, 150, 500, 550, 1500, 5000, 5500
These Crowns cannot be transferred between accounts within a family of accounts.
As usual, Each code can only be used once and each account can only redeem a maximum of three codes from this promotion. The codes can be redeemed at http://www.wizard101.com/promo and will only work on the KingsIsle versions of Wizard101. (not Gameforge or Taomee)

Wow, this was a tough contest to judge! As you know, Ditto is personally choosing the grand prize winner, and then randomly picking all the rest of the winners for the other prizes. It’s Arrrgust in Pirate101 – So let’s design a cool housing item!
OK, my apologies to One Eye’d Jack and Captain Avery on this one, Ditto is about a week late on this contest due to a number of furry monster related things, but it’s still Arrrgust and Ditto has prizes to give away, so hopefully they won’t make me walk the plank!
So I sent out a request to my fans for good contest ideas, and I got some great ones, I”m sure I’ll use them all eventually. For Arrrgust, though, there was one that made the most sense – so thanks to Jose on Twitter I’ve got a fun idea for a great design contest – design an interactive housing item.

Ditto faces Killmore Spiritwalker in Zafaria!
Ditto is back in Wizard 101 – and completely forgot what he is doing, so he followed the yellow arrow to the cave of Killmore Spiritwalker, a Rank 11 life boss. So yeah – first 10 minutes back in Wizard101 after vacation, and Ditto is in a big boss fight – so exciting!!

Captain Ditto and his trusty crew make it through the underground tunnels and out to the Summer Palace – but the gate is locked, and somehow a fierce crew of pirates can’t hop a short iron fence, so we have to fight the Monquistan guards, steal the key, and make it into the courtyard. Yarrrrr.

Captain Ditto and his crew are back, and have found the secret entrance to the Summer Palace, home of exiled ex-queen Catherine. The secret entrance isn’t very nice – in fact, it’s infested with crabby crawlies!! You know how Captain Ditto hates crabs… and for good reason; they seem to be tougher than the Monquistan soldiers!!

Ditto’s Win a Wizard101 House Contest! You just have to find it!
So Ditto has another fun and crazy contest, and in this one, you can win a HOUSE! Which house? Well, that’s the contest – you need to figure it out! Ditto announces the winners of the July Rock N Roll Wizard101 contest!!
This is a first – thanks to KingsIsle, Ditto is very happy to announce that EVERYONE who entered my July Wizard101 contest is a winner!! That’s right – if you sent me a contest entry to dittocontest@gmail.com for my Rock and Roll contest, you won!! I’ve already sent out all the prizes, so make sure you check your email – people won instruments, music boxes, all kinds of great musical stuff.

Captain Ditto and the Legend of Zenda, part 2!
Captain Ditto and his crew finally reach Zenda prison to deliver Gortez, and they definitely do NOT get a warm welcome! The King and Queen have told the guards to ‘eliminate’ Gortez – AND Captain Ditto! Yikes!! There’s quite a battle – can Captain Ditto and his crew make it through?
Ditto investigates in Stone Town
Ditto takes the Bill of Lading he found on the waterfront to Hrathi Irontrunk to decipher, then talks to the queen, who sends Ditto to talk to the Stone Town historian. Hrathi also discovers that the Bill of Lading had the queen’s top counselor’s name all over it – not good!
Captain Ditto and The Legend of Zenda – Pirate101
Captain Ditto and his crew are headed to Zenda to deliver Gortez to the prison there, but Captain Dito thirsts for battle! Ditto and his crew engage a fierce ship to ship battle in which Ditto and his crew fail miserably – we did so poorly Ditto may have forgotten to load the cannons, really… Pretty embarrassing overall.
Finally, after bravely running away from the vicious combat, Ditto reaches Zenda with his captive, Gortez…
Ditto searches for clues in Stone Town – and gets in a fight….
Ditto is still in Stone Town, and after defeating Belloq, Ditto has to find Sobaka down by the waterfront and explore Belloq’s barge to look for evidence… Of course the evidence is being guarded by several Black Tusk Cultists — not a problem for ‘Pyromnacer Power’! Of course ‘Pyromancer Power’ is no match against ‘Kitten Power’ as Ditto is attacked again mid-quest.

Ditto Loves to Rock N Roll!! Wizard101 July Contest!
So here we are with a fun new July contest, and it’s music themed!! As you probably know, Wizard101 just added a great new fun feature, musical instruments!! You can decorate your house or dorm with these fun instruments and jam! They’re really fun, even for someone not particularly musically inclined. (more…)
And the Geek & Sundry Winner Is…. Not Ditto
Well, it looks like all the Geek & Sundry vlog contest winners have been announced, and Ditto’s Video Bloggy Thingy was not among them. I said it before, and I really do believe that even though we have not made it to the next round for Geek & Sundry, the amazing support and turnout I got from my fans and followers and the fact that we ended up in fifth place out of many, many entries (well over 100) is just amazing, and I definitely count myself a winner just for that. Carl isn’t so forgiving, but he’ll get over it, I assure you. (more…)
Captain Ditto finally makes to Monquista!
Ditto FINALLY makes it through the stormgate to Monquista (It sure took e long enough!) -the storm gates are really cool, and you can even navigate a bit inside them!
Oh – and Phil shows up to check out the storm gate too…
So Ditto finally makes it to Monquista and heads to the Royal Palace to meet the king and queen! They are NOT nice monkeys, they are very naughty monkeys. They thank Ditto for finding Gortez – sort of – and the send Ditto to take Gortez to Zenda, the Monquistan prizon, for a ‘rest’… So next up, apparently, are ‘The Adventures of Zenda’.

And here it is – the final battle against the dreaded Gortez! This is a great fight, where we need to fight minions, activate idols, and then battle the massive monkey madman himself!! Stubborn Duncan Freeman, Wicked Kelly Morris, and Merciless Alex Nichols joined me and the team worked great together – we were able to capture the massive monkey Gortez without losing a single man!
Geek & Sundry Vlogger Contest – 5th place – Thank you All!! What’s Next
As of this morning, at the close of the Geek & Sundry Vlogger contest, Ditto finished up in 5th place with 3338 votes! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who supported me and voted for me and put up with my constant twitter requests to vote for me – that had to get annoying, right? It means a LOT to this furry monster to have done so well and had the support or so many awesome fans!
So a lot of people have asked ‘What’s Next’ – Well, Geek & Sundry will choose thirty winners from this round and announce those on July 1st (I’m glad I don’t have fingernails, I would be chewing them until the 1st!). Being in the top 30 list doesn’t guarantee I’ll be chosen, but it definitely helps a lot. Being the only Fabricated American in the contest probably helps a lot too.
The 30 finalists will produce another video, and go through another selection and voting process, until the final 10 are selected as new Geek & Sundry Vloggers. Being a Geek & Sundry Vlogger gets me promotion, opportunities, moving beyond just doing vlogs, collaboration opportunities, new content pitches, opportunities for exclusive access to events and resources, guidance, mentoring, resources, and I may even get to meet Felicia Day! It’s all pretty exciting for a furry orange monster!
I do want to thank everyone again – even if I don’t make the next round, seeing the community rally around me like this definitely makes me a winner!! I am so grateful, and whether I win or not, I’ll be adding a lot more fun stuff to my vlog, inspiration from this contest!!

Ditto Defeats Belloq!
Yes – after his serious defeat at the hands of Belloq, Ditto did some research at Wizard101 Central and the Wizard101 Wiki, and I learned that Belloq cheats!! He will taunt you and hit you with a zero pip Ra spell if he doesn’t take any damage during a round! Once I learned that, I changed my deck a little, adding as many zero cast damage and DOT spells as I could, and then changed my strategy and hired a few helpers. Once I figured that out, Big Bad Belloq didn’t stand a chance!
Captain Ditto and Friends take on the Gold Monkey Dungeon!
A good captain knows when to call for backup, and Ditto’s instincts told him that Gortez’s Gold Monkey Dungeon was more than Ditto and his intrepid crew could handle, so I called in some re-enforcements! Stubborn Duncan Freeman, Wicked Kelly Morris, and Merciless Alex Nichols joined me for this adventure, and they were a huge help getting me through the dungeon.
Of course we did have a bit of technical difficulties in the form of another kitten attack… but we got through it pretty much unscathed 🙂
Ditto versus Belloq, Take 1… Know your enemy!
Ditto faces down Belloq on the Waterfront, and is very, very un-prepared. It seems there’s a trick to the Belloq fight – a trick that Ditto did not know… and it did not end well. At all. I haven’t been defeated this quickly in a long time, and found out the hard way there’s a ‘trick’ to this one…
Captain Ditto versus scary birds and… Smoky Kitten!
Captain Ditto and his faithful crew are searching the Isle of Doom for Gortez – and get jumped by evil birds! So it’s Ditto’s tough swashbuckling crew versus crazed parakeets – and I have to admit, I’m not all that impressed by how my crew fared… I mean, they’re just BIRDS people…
Of course the real battle was with Smoky the kitten, who insists that Ditto’s laptop is his new toy… Oh Smoky – you’re lucky you’re cute 🙂
