Handyman Ditto fixes the Zafarian Queen!
In the last video Ditto was able to get the steamship boiler back, but the captain can’t fix his ship, so once again we have Handyman Ditto to the rescue!! Ditto heads to the library to find book about fixing steamships – see, libraries are awesome! The instructions to fix the boat are really cute.. one of the many fun little touches I love in Wizard101.
Captain Ditto speaks to Bishop Hidalgo and gets a Secret Mission!
Still on his mission to open up diplomatic relationships Monquista, Ditto heads to the cathedral to speak with Bishop Hidalgo there. Ditto learns some of the interesting history of Monquista, and then gets assigned a dangerous secret mission to ‘The Island of Doom’, apparently based at least partially on the plot to ‘Apocalypse Now’… It should be a piece of cake – assuming Ditto survives the deadly snakes, killer bees, poisonous frogs, and whatever else is out there!
Ditto Recovers the boiler for the Jungle Cruise…
Still adventuring in Zafaria, Ditto now needs to get the boiler for the boat so he can go on the jungle cruise and go talk to the elephants… You just can’t make this stuff up, folks. Of course nothing ever goes as planned and Ditto ends up getting into a fight against some fire foes, and doesn’t have a single fire prism – time for some big volcano action! In other news, I have to admit – the T Rex rampaging through the savannah is one of my favorite things ever.
Captain Ditto has an audience with the Monquistan Governor
Captain Ditto has pirated the silk needed by the monquistan tailor and his spiffy new diplomatic outfit is ready! Of course there’s something a little strange about Ditto’s special ‘diplomatic outfit’ – those monquistans may have made a monkey out of him….
Ditto follows the little yellow arrow in Wizard101
It has been over a week since Ditto was able to log into Wizard 101, and I really didn’t remember what I was doing, so I just followed the little yellow arrow and it led me on all kinds of great adventures! That’s a great feature of Wizard 101 – you can’t really get lost. Very helpful for a furry orange monster who can be kind of forgetful sometimes.
Ditto finds a glitch, then continues his diplomatic mission to Puerto Mico!
Coming out of Captain Avery’s office, Ditto is surrounded by a mysterious and impenetrable fog that bars his way…. Actually it’s just a weird game glitch and Ditto is able to fix it by teleporting to the Life Fountain.
Ditto then heads off to continue his diplomatic mission to Puerto Mico – but first he stops to return a mirror to a very strange monkey. That guys’ got some issues, I think.
Ditto returns the Mooshu Falcon to Captain Avery!
Ditto has been very busy for the last few days, so I have not been playing the game or updating the website as much as I had hoped. Nothing wrong, just regular real stuff, but it kept me away from the game a bit more than I liked. It’s all good thought.
So for this video, Ditto finally finishes the ‘Mooshu Falcon’ quest by returning the fabled artifact to Captain Avery, and… Well, Captain Avery says thanks. That’s about it. To be honest, Ditto was expecting a bit more from this, but there you go, at least he said thanks.
Ditto faces Shaka Zebu, greatest living Zebra Warrior!!
Ditto has the magic hatchet and heads to the palace to destroy the evil spirit vine that is corrupting the great baobab within! He faces Tse Tse Snaketail, who manages to steal the magic shield artifact and then sends the possessed Shaka Zebu and a Carrion Flower warrior to fight Ditto.
The fight goes mostly according to plan, but Shaka Zebu is a fearsome warrior and Ditto needs to call in some extra help in the form of a hired life henchman to help him win the duel. Once Shaka Zebu is subdued, Ditto is able to defeat the evil vine thingy and free Shaka Zebu from Tse Tse Snaketail’s evil spell!
Ditto gets the ‘Rain of Fire’ Pyromancer spell – Full Walkthrough!
As soon as he hits level 68, Ditto is summoned back to Ravenwood School to learn the amazing new ‘Rain of Fire’ spell from Professor Falmea!
Of course not everything goes as planned, and learning the new spell takes Ditto from Wizard City, to Celestia, to Dragonspire and beyond!!
This is the full end-to-end Walkthrough to get the spell and, at around 22 minutes, is probably Ditto’s longest video ever!
Ditto visits the Tranquil Grove and does Tranquil things.
Ditto heads into the tranquil grove and talks to Queen and Princess AutumnRain – they are so nice. Ditto has lots of quests to turn in to the Princess and gets access to the Star School trainer – hooray!
Then Ditto talks to the Queen and learns that he has to take his magic choppy thing and dislodge the evil vine spirit thingy form the great magic Baobab to save Shaka Zebu.
Finally, Ditto goes wandering about Zamunda helping people and finishing up a bunch side quests before facing the evil in the throne room!
Captain Ditto in Ship to Ship combat with House Guzman!
In order to impress the MajorDomo in Puerto Mico, Captain Ditto and crew need to get down to some genuine pirating, attacking House Guzman ships and taking the silk that master monkey tailor Bernardo Sarstre needs to make Ditto’s special diplomatic suit! The combat is fierce as Captain Ditto and crew board the Guzman ship, incapacitate the crew, and plunder the booty!
Ditto faces Zanga Zebu!
Once he defeats the lesser minions of the dreaded Tse Tse Snaketail, Ditto has to face one of the greatest Zebra Warriors of all time, Zanga Zebu, under the evil control of Tse Tse.
This is an interesting boss fight, mostly because Ditto forgot to equip his boss fighting deck, and has to use a lot of strategy to beat Zanga. Well, if by ‘strategy’ I mean ‘throw as many fire dragons as possible at him’.
Captain Ditto heads to Sunny Puerto Mico!
Captain Avery wants Ditto has to head out to sunny Puerto Mico, trying to set up trade with those wily Monquistans. The Monquistan Major Domo isn’t particularly receptive to pirates, however! Can Ditto and his crew use their skills and ‘diplomacy’ to get the job done?
Ditto enters the Sacred Tomb of Kings in Zamunda!
After collecting the magic smoke dust or whatever it was, Ditto can enter the sacred temple thingy! Ditto has to light the braziers in the right order to open the big door, then fight his way through several chambers to face down Tse Tse Snaketail and his evil minions – including Ditto’s long-time nemesis, ICE SPIDERS! But even though Ditto makes short work of the minions, the worst is definitely yet to come!
Ditto Reporting Live from the Blizzard! I Found Nemo!!
Here is Ditto, reporting LIVE (Well, recorded technically) from deep within the big blizzard, Nemo! It’s very cold and the snow is coming down pretty fast now, but Ditto and Miss Narrator and all our friends are safe inside and keeping warm with lots of cocoa and cookies and big fuzzy blankies as we watch the snow come down! I’ll do another report tomorrow when we see how much snow Ditto gets!! I wonder if it will be up to my waist! Maybe deeper!
Well that all wrapped up nicely…
Captain Ditto and his trusty crew head to The Golden Finn tavern and talk to Captain Cutter about all they discovered about his untrustworthy first mate. After that, Captain Ditto heads down to the Tavern basement to talk to Ratbeard about his ghostly problems – and buy him some yum. After a long heart to heart, Ratbeard feels lots better and even levels up!!
Captain Ditto Investigates in Flotsam
Captain Cutter has some concerns about his First Mate, and Captain Ditto trails the scoundrel to Flotsam, where he catches him making nefarious plans with some wharf rats! Of course, Ditto and crew need to fight their way out of a dangerous situation to get news back to Captain Cutter!
Captain Ditto faces the Ghosts of Ratbeard’s Past!
Now that Ratbeard has joined Ditto’s crew, Captain Ditto talks to One Eye’d Jack about some of Ratbeard’s missing property, including his sword, Jack tells them it was hidden away nearby for safe keeping.
Once Ditto and Ratbeard collect the missing sword, however, the ghosts of Ratbeard’s past catch up with him – literally. The ghosts of Ratbeard’s former crew surround Ditto and Ratbeard, and they must face down the ghosts and fight their way out of the supernatural encounter!
This is a great quest line and I’m very glad Ratbeard didn’t have anything to do with his crew’s unfortunate demise! I can’t wait to see what happens next!!
Friendship Festival Contest! Ditto’s Mount Mania! Pick a Mount, Win a Mount!
Here it is, another fun contest for the Wizard101 Friendship Festival!! Ditto has been given prize codes for a bunch of AWESOME mounts, and I am excited to give them away to my fans! So how can you win a mount? Well – just tell me which one you want, and you’ll have a chance to win it!
Ditto’s Video Bloggy Thingy Feb 1st, 2013
Hello, it is the Ditto with another Video Bloggy thingy!! Ditto has been a busy monster this week, oh boy!! But before me get into all that, I’ll start like I usually do – the Twitter report! (more…)
Ditto meets King Shaka Zebu – and the news isn’t good…
The great mystery of Zafaria is starting to become more clear! Much like Ditto’s previous adventures in Mooshu, Shaka Zebu, the great ruler of Zamunda, is under a terrible spell, tied to some creepy sickly baobab tree!!
Unfortunately, news of the kings illness is spreading quickly, and there are people rioting in the streets!! Ditto must act quickly to quell this civil unrest!
Ditto Investigates Tse Tse’s hut and meets lovely Queen Amahle
Ditto is still in Zamunda (how big is this place?) investigating that nasty Tse Tse guy and finds – get this – black and white paint. Like he was physically painting rhinos to look like zebras. Seriously? This is the worst scheme ever! The good news is that Ditto also levels up – yay!!
So once Ditto finds the paint he has to take the evidence to Queen Amahle AutumnRain – which may be my favorite name in the game so far. It’s a very pretty name!
Captain Ditto is looking for Trouble’s Lamp…
Captain Ditto is a helpful sort of guy, and during his travels he met a down on his luck pirate named Trouble Tompkins. Trouble asked Ditto to help him get a magic lamp that he thought would solve all his problems! During his many travels, Ditto comes across such a lamp in a locked chest in an old abandoned house!
Ditto in Zamunda – A bucket full of water… Elementals?
Ditto finished showing the water elementals who is boss, having defeated a whole bunch of them. Once he has completed his final battle, he is able to – I kid you not – put the water elementals in a bucket and use them to put out the fire!
I know the water elementals are trying to beat me up and everything, sure, but this just seems cruel and unusual… well, it’s definitely unusual!
Ditto finally completes the quest and heads back to town to see what’s next…
