Ditto’s Spooky Decorating Contest, Week 4!
Here it is, the final week of my Spooky Halloween contest for Wizard 101! This week there will be three Grand Prize winners chosen, and each will win a Death house, One of each of the three spooky Halloween decorator packs (Spider, Graveyard, and Spooky), and 5,000 crowns!
So far we’ve done Scary Movies, fun costumes, and looked at what was Spooky in The Spiral… This week, I want to know what YOU like – what’s your favorite part of Halloween? Is it dressing up? Candy? Bobbing for Apples? Watching ‘It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown’ over and over again? Ditto’s Week 3 Spooky Contest Winners Announced!

New Blog Post – 1000 Twitter Followers!
Thanks to everyone who spread the word about my Twitter contest, and of course to KingsIsle for helping me have a contest in the first place!! My Twitter account passed 1000 followers a little while ago, and I verified on two different devices and via email that Autumn Moonblade was my 1000th follower!
I’m going to keep the contest going until tomorrow afternoon (Sunday, October 21st) to give more people a chance to enter the contest (by following me on Twitter) and I’ll select ten random winners and post them here.

Another New Contest – Celebrating 1000 Twitter Followers!!
So as most people who follow Ditto know, I love my Twitter followers, and when I started out I had a very modest goal of gaining 500 followers. I have been way more successful than that, and as of right now I have 983 followers!! Thanks to the great folks at KingsIsle, in celebration of my passing 1000 followers any time now, I’m having a contest, and ten lucky people will be getting 10,000 crowns each!!
So what do you have to do to win? If you already follow me on Twitter, nothing at all – you’re already entered!! If you’re not following me, then just follow Dittowizard on Twitter and you’ll be entered to win. It’s as easy as that!
Once I hit 1000 followers, I’ll do a random drawing via a ‘random twitter follower selector’ service and select ten winners from all of my current followers. Ditto plants a Garden in The Savanna
In continuing his ‘Ditto, Handyman of the Savanna’ theme, Ditto is now doing some amateur gardening. He gets seed from Narley the mole-guy and helps Eden, one of the students, to plant a nice little garden so the Darkmane tribe has food to eat. It’s good to feel helpful – though I do hope I don’t forget how to use my wand after all of this handyman stuff…
Handyman Ditto builds a Spear!
Still adventuring in the Savanna, Ditto has apparently gotten quite a reputation as a handyman! He has fixed fences and towers, and now Ditto is helping an Ikea warrior build a spear. Anything to help, right? It would be nice to get back to magic, though…
Pirate 101 Ship to Ship Combat Could Be My Favorite Thing!
I’ve been having some grand adventures in the Skyways of the Spiral, and one of my favorite things is ship to ship combat!! The roar of cannons, the clash of spells, the smoke in the sails and the clashing of massive timbers as we board the enemy ships! There’s a lot of strategy involved, and there are a few different ways you can fight from your ship. There is fighting ‘natural’ enemies like flying fish and sharks, who swarm your deck if you get to close! Then you have other ships, where you fight ship to ship either until you can board the other ship and fight the crew hand to hand, or else just blast them to pieces and send them down to Davy Jones’ Locker! It’s exciting and lots of fun – I know I’ll be focused on upgrading my ships with bigger and better guns and spells!
Ditto’s Spooky October Contest Week 3! The Spooky Spiral!!

For this week’s contest, I want to get spooky with Wizard 101 itself. What do you think the spookiest/scariest place in The Spiral is? Is it the haunted cave? The lava filled streets of Dragonspyre? Maybe it’s a spooky dungeon deep in the heart of Krokotopia? Or even your dorm room! Ditto faces the Fire Lion Ravagers
After fixing some fences and watchtowers and I think waxing someone’s car and doing a few loads of laundry, Ditto is sent out to fight Fire Lion Ravagers, which are scary and awesome! The Lions are fire and the lionesses are death, a scary combination, so Ditto re-tools his deck a bit for the fight.
I have to say, once again I love the design of these enemies; the blue fire effect is pretty awesome, and they were a really good fight.

Ditto has rounded up a lot of sticks to help fix a fence, and then had to go fix a watchtower that had been knocked over in an attack. In Zafaria it seems like Ditto has suddenly traded in his wand and amazing pyromancer’s skills for a hammer and some heavy lifting… but it’s all to help people, and Ditto is always happy to help!

That’s right me maties, Pirate101 is officially open for headstart players, and will be open to everyone on October 15th! Ditto was able to get into the head start, and I have a fun new video of me creating my first character, a Swashbucker named Daring Digby Devereaux! Ditto Finds Another Student in the Savanna
After Ditto found all the biltong for Chief Hakuna Matata, the chief let Ditto know that one of the missing students was there in the village, trying to help them grow some plants. So Ditto has found another student, and has a new quest too!
Ditto’s October Scare Fest, Week 2!

For my second contest, Ditto needs help. I am a furry orange monster, and a very cute one at that, but I am having trouble coming up with a Halloween costume. For this contest, tell Ditto what he should be for Halloween. Is it a vampire, a witch, a mummy, or something totally unique?

Ditto get into a Food Fight!
After many, MANY fights with the Ikea guys, Ditto got the six spears he needed and gave them to the chief. Unfortunately, while Ditto was gone some other tribes came in and stole some food. Well, Ditto will not abide people stealing food, even if it’s not pie, so he headed into battle to get the food back…

Ditto Battles Striped Iklaws
Ditto is on a quest for one of the tribal chiefs of the savanna, Chief Kakuta. Ditto has to defeat Striped Iklaws to win spears, so Chief Kakuta’s tribe can defend themselves. I’m thinking that maybe if I take all the spears from the Iklaws and not give them to Chief Kakuta’s tribe, then nobody will have spears and I can RULE THE WORLD WITH MAGIC!!! Um, I mean, I can make everyone sit down and talk and be peaceful…
This is a pretty textbook display of Pyromancer awesomeness – blade, blade, Fire Dragon, VICTORY!
Ditto Learns about Life in The Savanna
Ditto talks to Chief Kakuta, one of the chiefs of the various warring tribes out on the savanna. It turns out they’re really just trying to mind their own business, and these other tribes keep stealing their stuff. It seems unfair. The Chief wants Ditto to go fight some striped iklaws and get his spears back… apparently he’s having trouble getting his point across…
Get it? Point? Well, Carl laughed.
Ditto’s October Scare-Fest!!
October is finally here, and Monsters LOVE Halloween! We have so much fun during this whole month, with the spooky and the creepy and the CANDY!!! Ditto is always excited for Halloween, but this year he’s even MORE excited, because KingsIsle and Wizard101 have given the fan sites all KINDS of great prizes to give out all through the month!!
Ditto explores the Savanna. He’s got his work cut out for him…
Ditto has finally made it out of Baobab and into the savanna. Out in the savanna Ditto gets word from Tik Tik Snaketongue that there are all kinds of problems between the various tribes, there’s a serious lack of food, and there’s not a single Starbucks. It sounds worse than Dragonspyre…. Ditto needs to go out and help the locals in order to find out what happened to the students. Lots of daring adventure and thrilling battles on their way out here…
